Any current iPad works
ArrivSure Kiosk runs on iPadOS 26.0 or later. For a new kiosk, buy the base Wi-Fi iPad and a stand made for it. Landscape preferred for most new installations; portrait supported.

Give visitors a consistent place to position a license
If you turn on driver’s-license capture, the iPad’s rear camera photographs the front and back and reads the barcode. A holder gives visitors a steady place to set the card. It does not add a separate scanner or identity-verification system.

You choose who on your team can see them. Before you turn capture on, set your visitor-facing notice and any required consent, your retention and deletion settings, and session clearing between visitors, and keep a staff-assisted alternative for visitors who’d rather not scan. Can we use an iPad we already own?
Yes, if it runs iPadOS 26.0 or later. Send us the model and we’ll confirm which stands fit it.
Does the kiosk have to be landscape?
ArrivSure supports landscape and portrait. Landscape suits most lobbies. Pick the orientation before you buy the stand; some stands only fit one way.
Can ArrivSure supply our kiosk?
Yes. Managed Kiosk includes ArrivSure-owned hardware: an iPad, stand, and badge printer, configured and managed remotely, with covered failures replaced under your agreement. Prefer to own your equipment? Use this guide instead.
Will any Brother QL printer work?
No. Use the Brother QL-820NWB or QL-820NWBc. Other QL models connect differently.
Which badge roll should we order?
Start with Brother DK-1234 name-badge labels. If your badge layout needs more room, we’ll tell you which roll to use.
Do you sell these stands?
No. They’re sold and warrantied by their manufacturers. We list them because they suit a lobby kiosk; order the version made for your exact iPad.
Do we need a separate driver's-license scanner?
No. The iPad’s rear camera captures the front and back of a U.S. or Canadian license and reads its barcode. A holder just gives visitors a steady place to set the card. It does not authenticate the license, verify identity, perform age verification, or make an entry decision.
Can the Bosstab license holder attach to any stand?
No. It fits Bosstab’s Elite tablet holders only, in the version made for your iPad. It doesn’t fit the Touch line or other brands’ stands.
